You make sure that all customer orders are complete and ready to be sent out. As a warehouse employee your responsibilities are:

• Picking orders with a handscanner;
• Sending on items to the packing team quickly and smoothly;
• Making sure that all orders are set and ready to be picked up at the end of the day;
• Closing your shift by working with your colleagues to tidy up and clean your station.

You will be picking the items you need in 3 environments (the room temperature warehouse, the fridge between 4-8 degrees and, the freezer at -18 degrees). You will get warm clothing and gloves for protection from the cold. Don’t worry! You won’t be in the cold long, you pick what you need quickly and efficiently, and are in and out in 10 minutes!

We are looking for orderpickers for a 40-hour work week for a long-term position. Get ready for an adventure, because no day will be the same!

Where will you be working?

ThermoFisher is an international company which has its European Distribution Center in Bleiswijk. It is a pioneer in the life sciences field, and takes care of logistics for medication and medical ingredients, including products that are used in cancer research.

You will be working in the European Distribution Center, where, together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure all orders are shipped all over the world on time. With these products ThermoFisher’s customers can make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.

Besides a good work environment, ThermoFisher also offers a stable work schedule. You’ll work from Monday to Friday, from 7:30-16:00, so your weekend is your own! Don’t worry about parking, the company has a large parking lot next to the facility. If you’re traveling by public transport, you’ll also be able to reach the warehouse easily, especially if you live in the Hague and Zoetermeer! The work environment in the warehouse is relaxed, and teamleaders are social and involved. In the cafeteria you can enjoy warm snacks during your break!

• You have an mbo degree or equivalent experience;
• You are precise, independent and can overcome any challenge;
• You’re capable of working in various temperatures;
• You speak English;
• You are available for a fulltime position.

What do we offer?

• An attractive gross salary of 12,50 an hour, paid weekly. This salary will go up in 2024;
• Travel allowance of 0,21 per kilometer
• 8,33% holiday pay and 25 vacation days
